I was listening to the morning news the other day and they stated that OVER 50% of Americans have less than $500 in the bank.   What’s wrong this picture.

There were 77.3 Million people born from 1946 – 1964 (baby boomers).  They control 70% of the wealth in America.

But:

• 26 % of the people between the ages of 46 – 64 have no personal savings.
• 14% of the people 65 and older, have no personal savings.
• 25% of the people 46 – 64 have no retirement savings.
• 22% of the people ages 65 and older, have no retirement savings.

Most people make these common mistakes when it comes to their finances:

• Winging it,
• Missing out on tax benefits, and
• failure to monitor their progress.
